EXCEL PREPARATION UPDATE PROGRAM
If you already have the PDPM program on your computer and are updating to the newest version, there are a couple of easy steps that you need to take to ensure that the program runs smoothly.
Clear Previous Version:
Right click on the NicoPDPM icon shortcut that you use to open the program. Select “Delete”.
Go to C Drive, Users, Public. To access your C Drive in Windows 10, right click on the Windows icon on the left side of your toolbar, select “File Explorer”. Scroll down on the left side of the open dialogue to “Local Disk (C:). Left click on the C Drive, then Users, Public.
Delete the “Ticket” file by right clicking on the file and select “Delete”.
To save your old Grouper files:
Right click on the NicoPDPM file. Select “Rename” change the name to add a time frame of these files. I.e., PDPM Grouper files 10.2019 – 7.2020. You can move this file to any location on your computer that you choose. If you ever want to open these files you can. To open these files at a later time, see instructions below for “Import files”.
Import files: From the open Grouper program click on the “Import” button. You will be prompted to select a file to import. These will be in the original version. This includes base rates and wage indexes for that associated time frame.
If you do not want to save your old files, just delete the “NicoPDPM” file entirely.
Install the Updated Version:
Determine whether your version of Excel is 32-bit or 64-bit:
From the File menu, select Account.
Then select About Excel. Your version of Excel is displayed on the top of the information page. Note whether it is 32 or 64 bits. Close Excel completely.
You are now ready to download and install your PDPM Calculator, NicoPDPM.
DOWNLOAD, INSTALL AND RUN
Click the applicable button below to download a Zip file of the setup application. The Zip file will download to your “Downloads” folder. Right click on the Zip file and select “Extract”. This will create a new “PDPM+64” or “PDPM+32” folder in your downloads that contains the Grouper setup program. Open this “PDPM+” folder and then open the PDPM setup file.
Follow the simple instructions for setting up and installing the application. If your antivirus software prevents you from proceeding, open up your virus software and add https://www.safeactivation.com as a trusted location. Alternately, temporarily disable your firewall.
Upon completion, the NicoPDPM icon will appear on your desktop. Double clicking on the icon will launch the application.
Use your existing Serial Number in the activation dialog when launching for the first time.
